Custer State Park, South Dakota--Traffic Jam

On our way into Custer State Park, we were held up by wildlife. Buffalo stand in front of traffic, holding up cars. It’s almost as if they do it on purpose.

Burros also tie up traffic, hoping to get a few snacks from naïve tourists. They approach cars with no fear. (We think that the burros speak Spanish, so we always yell mañana out the window at them.)
